Spotlight on C.A.R.E. : D&C Letter to the Editor

In a letter to the editor in yesterday’s issue of the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, a customer thanked an RTS Bus Operator for helping a fallen pedestrian:

RTS bus driver stops to help a fallen pedestrian
I am writing to publicly express my great thanks and appreciation to the RTS bus driver who came to “rescue” me when I had fallen on the icy Main Street bridge on Jan. 5. He was the only person who stopped to help, the first of many guardian angels that day. I am very grateful for this quick action and reassuring words. Miraculously, I have no broken bones. -- Mary S.
