Formal contracting opportunities are advertised in the Rochester Business Journal as well as the New York State Contract Reporter and depending on the procurement Event, advertising may also appear in the Minority Reporter or Transit Talent. If you have a question about a specific procurement Event in our Supplier Portal, NYS law requires that you contact the designated staff identified within the Event. No other person affiliated with RGRTA may discuss an active solicitation.

As a recipient of Federal Transit Administration and New York State funding, RGRTA is required to comply with a variety of programs including MWBE, DBE, and SDVOB. Whether you are a certified by one of these programs or not, we strongly recommend you review the resources we provide . Each Event will indicate whether these programs apply and, if so, it will identify the appropriate goal applied to it.
