RTS and ATU are happy to participate in tomorrow's Monroe County Veterans' Day Parade. Together, we will march alongside a fully decorated RTS to express our gratitude to those who have served our nation. We extend a warm invitation to all our community members to join us in this meaningful event and share in the celebration of our veterans.

What makes this parade even more special is the fact that we are fortunate to count 89 veterans among our RTS staff. These individuals not only dedicated their time in service to our country, but they continue to exemplify the spirit of service in our local community. Their commitment is inspiring, and we are honored to have them as part of our team.

RTS has a longstanding tradition of supporting military veterans. In recent years, we have taken steps to enhance our support by initiating a program that provides free rides throughout our eight-county service area in partnership with the Veterans Outreach Center. (Visit https://veteransoutreachcenter.org/rts to learn more and enroll in the program.) Since the program's inception in 2020, over 1,400 military veterans have benefited from more than 600,000 free rides, allowing them greater accessibility to essential services and opportunities.

This initiative is our way of saying "thank you" and giving back to those who have already given so much to our nation. It's not just a ride; it's a gesture of appreciation for their sacrifices and a commitment to making their daily lives a bit easier.

As we approach Veterans Day, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all veterans for their service and sacrifice. We invite you to join us at the parade and stand united in honoring our heroes. Together, let's celebrate the resilience, bravery, and unwavering dedication of our veterans. Thank you again, and a heartfelt happy Veterans Day to all!

See you at the parade!
