Navigate ROC by Bus and by Bike

July 21, 2017

It's 2017, and there are lots of ways for people to get from point A to point B. At RTS, we’re working on ways to make it easier for people to travel, both now and in the future. This is one reason why we’re excited to partner with the City of Rochester on its new bike sharing program, administered by Zagster.

Many customers already make  bikes part of their commute and now, even more people can navigate the City using public transit and bike sharing. (Pssst: if you don’t know how to ride the bus with a bike, here’s how.)

We’re sponsoring six of the 46 bike share stations; check out this map to find a station near you. Here are the locations of the RTS-sponsored bike stations:

  • The RTS Transit Center (one on each side)
  • The RTS Main St. Campus, at 1372 E. Main St.
  • MCC’s Downtown Campus on State Street
  • The Central Library of Rochester (Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building)
  • College Town

Ready to give bike sharing a try? Great! All the information you need to sign up and use the program is available at Zagster.com/roc; you can also call the Zagster customer service line at 202-999-3924.

When you sign up, use promo code RideOnRTS for a $5 bike share credit.  We hope you like this new way to enjoy the ride!
