There are upcoming changes to passes taking effect on January 1, 2021.
Service Fee for New RTS Go Cards
Starting January 1, 2021, when you buy a new RTS Go card it will be subject to a $2 service fee. The fee will be applied when getting a new card and adding less than $20 on it.
Avoid the fee: get an RTS Go card today and keep it! It’s reloadable: you can keep adding funds to your card. Check out our video on how to add funds to your RTS Go card.

New Year, New Passes
Also beginning on January 1, 2021, legacy (old) passes will no longer be accepted. This includes monthly passes, Tap & Go! passes, RTS freedom passes, stored value passes or any other previous passes you may still have. Please be sure to use up your old passes by the end of 2020! (some are pictured below)
