RTS Announces Detour and Service Information for the Lilac Run 5K and 10K Races

Rochester, NY: Due to road closures and restrictions for the Lilac Run 5K and 10K races, RTS announced today the following detour and service information that will be in effect on Sunday, May 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Road Closures in Effect:

• Highland Ave. will be closed to vehicular traffic from South Ave. to Monroe Ave.
• S. Goodman St. will be closed to vehicular traffic (except RTS buses) from Highland Parkway to Elmwood Ave.
• The curb lane on Monroe Ave. between Highland Ave. and Winton Rd. will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Detours in Effect:

• Route 47 Monroe:
  • Outbound: The last stop on Monroe Ave will be at the Hillside Manor Apartments until the intersection of Monroe Ave. and Brooklawn Dr.

Other Service Notes:

• Route 47 Monroe inbound will not be affected.
• Route 51 S. Clinton will not be affected. RTS buses will be allowed to cross the race route at S. Clinton Ave. / Highland and S. Goodman / Highland Pkwy and Highland Ave. Delays can be expected.
