Rochester, NY: Regional Transit Service (RTS) is pleased to announce that Maggie Brooks has accepted an offer to become the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.
“I am excited that Maggie accepted our offer and will be joining the RTS team,” said Bill Carpenter, CEO of RTS. “The new reality is that more resources are being directed to our community through strategic initiatives such as the Regional Economic Development Councils and the Anti-Poverty Initiative. That reality brings with it a growing need for RTS to increase our level of engagement and make sure the members of the respective initiatives understand what we can and can’t do with the resources we have. Maggie’s experience, dedication to the community and involvement with these initiatives make her the perfect fit for the job.”

Brooks, who will complete her 12-year term as Monroe County Executive at the end of the year, will begin her new position on Monday, January 4, 2016.
