Based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) lifting the mask mandate for public transit, Regional Transit Service (RTS) is making masks optional for customers and employees on all RTS vehicles and in all RTS facilities, effective immediately.
RTS will continue making masks available at RTS facilities, including the RTS Transit Center, for those who are more comfortable wearing a mask. RTS also encourages all customers and employees to stay home and away from public transit if you are sick, have COVID-19, or believe you have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19.
