RTS Transit Center Receives New Construction Recognition Award from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Rochester

October 06, 2016
RTS TC Image.jpg RTS announced today that the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Rochester has selected the RTS Transit Center as the recipient of the New Construction Recognition Award.

“On behalf of the 900-plus employees at RTS and the partner organizations that designed and built the RTS Transit Center, I thank BOMA for this award,” said Bill Carpenter, CEO of RTS. “This facility has been recognized nine times by local, state, and national organizations. This award is a testament to the talent and skill of the design/build team and the construction workers who built the RTS Transit Center, the hard work of the men and women who have it running like a finely-tuned machine, and the unwavering support of our customers and the community.”

According to BOMA, the New Construction Award is open to a newly constructed building with either a permanent or temporary certificate of occupancy, whose developers have demonstrated foresight in site selection and development. Excellence and unique concepts in construction are weighed heavily in this category, as are the successful and timely completion of buildings which make significant contributions to Rochester’s neighborhoods and overall atmosphere.
