RTS to Receive $9.9 Million to Invest in Public Transit Infrastructure News July 17, 2017 - It was announced today that Regional Transit Service (RTS) is receiving $9.9 million as part of Governor Andrew Cuomo's Public Transportation Modernization and Enhancement Program. As mentioned in the Governor's announcement, these transit capital funds will be used to replace buses in our fleet and invest in projects such as upgrading our technology systems to make it easier for customers to enjoy the ride. This new service agreement will ensure safe, reliable, convenient and free transportation to MCC’s Brighton Campus and the new Downtown Campus beginning on September 5, 2017, the first day of classes this fall.
