Planning and Projects

The RTS Planning Process
Open Houses
Our planning process begins with an open house, where we review and discuss current maps and schedules with customers. This let’s us hear directly from you, gathering your feedback on routes or proposals. You can also share your thoughts through our contact us page.
Public Information Sessions
After an open house, RTS reviews customer feedback and begins making or adjusting plans. We’ll then create a draft of our recommendations and present it to you at a Public Information Meeting. Our Transportation Planners will be on hand to help answer questions, discuss comments, and address concerns. Your feedback continues to be important, and helps shape future and current plans.
Final Recommendations
Once a final proposal is completed, it is posted on myRTS.com for customers to view. Sometimes a proposal is presented at a Public Hearing, where the new ideas are formally presented to the public and customers can voice their opinions on the public record. When proposed changes are presented at a Public Hearing, the transcript and questions are posted on myRTS.com; they are also reviewed and voted upon by the RGRTA Board of Commissioners.
Your Opinions Matter
We value your feedback and would like to hear from you! We want your input to help plan improvements to transit service, stops and crossings in your community. Share your thoughts through our contact us page.
