But, more importantly, we believe it clearly highlights the benefits this service provides— access to jobs, education, health care, shopping, and social activities. RTS Access Service Area and Supplemental Service Area
All RTS Access trips must begin and end within the service area as defined by the ADA. The RTS Access service area is ¾ of a mile beyond the RTS fixed-route bus service (this does not include Park and Ride or commuter services).
To extend the service area, RTS Access also provides service 1½ miles beyond the ¾-mile service area, for a total service area of 2¼ miles. If you would like to schedule a ride within the supplemental service area, call either the day before or the day of your ride. Service for these areas is available seven days a week, including holidays, based on available space.
